Customer Training and Education
We had to train our customers on our value perception
(how to do business with us).
-- Howard Putnam, Former-CEO of Southwest Airlines
We train employees, we train and mentor executives, and we train distribution
channels - but what's this about training customers?
Let's try to explain this. Every aspect of Rapid Knowledge Delivery has a "knowledge
transfer or education aspect" and then a key LIVE discussion and/or collaboration
component which is communication based (where the results are typically achieved or
can be seen).
Customers usually begin as prospects. Three of the first five stages of the sale cycle
(after identifying and qualifying a little) are building rapport, educating and engaging
the customer BEFORE you even get a chance to assess a customer's true needs with a
salesperson.
Another way to put it is the customer requires a certain amount of knowledge about you,
your products and what those products do. They respond to the way that presentation of
knowledge engages them or the experience of receiving that information (good, bad, the
same as all others, or differentiated?)
A Rapid Knowledge Delivery eBroadcast System combines both live and archived interviews
and concise 24/7 multimedia product or feature/benefits presentations into an
incredibly cost effective and differentiated way to "train your customers".
